• Account information: when you create an account you choose a username and display name. If you sign up with email, we store your email address and a securely hashed password (via our authentication provider). If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the identifier and email address those services share with us. • Game data: quiz progress, chapter completion, star ratings, collected cards, pack openings, ranked ELO rating, match history, and multiplayer nicknames. • Content you submit: if you use the in-app report feature, we store the report type, the reported nickname or question, your optional written reason, and which account submitted it. • You may also use the App anonymously. An anonymous account still receives a random unique identifier so your progress can be saved between sessions, but no personal information is required to play.

We use the information above to: operate core features (quizzes, card collecting, campaign progress); run multiplayer, ranked matchmaking, and leaderboards; let you recover progress across devices when you sign in; moderate reported content and nicknames; and improve and secure the App. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

We use Supabase to host our database and handle authentication; your account and game data are stored on Supabase's infrastructure under their security and privacy terms. If you sign in with Apple or Google, those providers process your authentication according to their own privacy policies. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs in the App.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings, or from bibletap.online/legal/delete-account without installing the app. Deleting your account removes your profile, cards, progress, ranked history, and match history from our database. Some records tied to reports you filed, or reports filed about you, may be retained for a limited period for moderation and safety purposes. To request full removal of your underlying authentication record, contact us at support@bibletap.online.

BibleTap is designed to be family-friendly and does not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what is necessary to operate an account (username, display name, and, if provided, an email address for sign-in). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without appropriate consent, contact us at support@bibletap.online and we will delete it.

You can play anonymously without providing any personal information, edit your display name and avatar at any time in Settings, and delete your account and associated data at any time. You can also contact us to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

We rely on Supabase's infrastructure security and row-level access controls to protect your data, and passwords are never stored in plain text. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the revised policy.
